Application
The main application for Antimony Trioxide is use as Flame Retardant. In addition, Antimony Trioxide can be used as an opacifying agent for glasses, ceramics and enamels and in it can be found in specialty pigments. Antimony trioxide can also be used as a catalyst in the formation of polyethylene terephthalate. In the production of titanium dioxide, antimony trioxide acts as a flocculant which prevents caking.
